Which credit cards does ePaymentbill accept?

Does ePaymentbill accept other forms of payment from customers, such as
paper checks, online checks, or wire transfers?
Currently, ePaymentbill accepts only Visa & MasterCard.
MERCHANTS 
What is the maximum amount of sales a merchant can conduct each month?
ePaymentbill apply a rolling funding limit, based on the amount of sales
over a rolling 60 day cycle. Each merchant is given this limit at the
time of signing up, and based on a number of factors, including the
type of products sold.

What does a merchant do if the merchant anticipates a high volume of
sales, which will exceed the rolling funding limit?
ePaymentbill sets the rolling funding limit as required by its partner banks.
ePaymentbill recommends the merchant to sign up with more than one payment
service provider so that the merchant can sell a higher volume of sales
and yet have the transactions accepted by the payment service providers.

How long does it take for a transaction to be processed, and when will
the merchant be paid?
The transaction is processed & approved/declined immediately. Merchants
will be paid within a few days of the approved transactions into their
bank accounts.

How does the merchant check the status of a transaction?
The merchant will be given a login ID to access a special web site
called the ePaymentbill's merchant site where the merchant can make
enquiries on your transactions and status of the merchant's account
with ePaymentbill.

What appears on the customer's credit card statements?
The transaction will appear on the customer's credit card statement as
being billed by 'ePaymentbill Inc', together with the order reference number
from the merchant. The merchant will need to inform the customer on
their web site as such.

Do customers automatically receive a message confirming that the
payment transaction has been approved?
ePaymentbill's system sends an E-mail message to the customer after
transacton has been approved.
How does a customer cancel or refund an order?
The customer cannot cancel or refund a transaction. Only the merchants
can. The merchant can cancel or refund the transactions using the same
Login ID into ePaymentbill's merchant site. The transactions must be
cancelled within 24 hours of the approved transactions. Refunds can
take place up to one week.
How does the merchant notify ePaymentbill of new Web page addresses where
the merchant is selling products?
To add or change to new Web page addresses, please log in to LotayPay's
merchant site and use the "Contact ePaymentbill" function. Write a brief
note with the new Web page address(es), give the date of change, and
ePaymentbill will make the necessary changes and confirm by return email.

Does ePaymentbill permit the sale of non-Internet gaming products?
ePaymentbill does permit the sale of non-Internet gaming products.
However, any product that you want to sell must be legal for sale and
use in all countries and states where the merchant accepts customers.
Please also note that ePaymentbill only services merchants who deliver
contents online ie. no delayed deliveries nor sale of products which
require inventory.

How does the merchant change its ePaymentbill password?
The "Settings & Options" screen on the ePaymentbill Merchant site allows the
merchant to change the password at any time. This change takes effect
immediately.

Can my ePaymentbill account accept orders from multiple Web sites belonging
to the same merchant?
If the merchant operates several different Web sites, the merchant can
use a single ePaymentbill account to accept orders from all of the
merchant's sites. However, the link to ePaymentbill for each site will need
to be tested & initialized by ePaymentbill. The procedure for this will be
made know to the merchant during signing up.

Can the merchant use the ePaymentbill service with a custom payment page for
its customers?
No, in order to keep costs down and make the ePaymentbill service efficient,
ePaymentbill will maintain standard payment pages, although these are
available in several languages.

How can the merchant test the ePaymentbill payment pages and that the
interface to the merchant's site is good?
To place a test order without using a live credit card number, type the
numbers '0000 0000 0000 0000' in place of the card number. The response
is always 'Approved', but the transactions will not be sent to the banks.

If a credit charge is declined, how can the merchant get more
information?
For security resons, banks & credit card companies do not tell the
payment service provider (ePaymentbill) the reason why a customer's charge
was refused. Instead the card holder should contact the bank which
issued the credit card and ask for the reason(s) why the charge failed.

Are there any taxes when selling via ePaymentbill?
No. ePaymentbill is registered in British Virgin Islands, and does not
attract and sales or other taxes. However, the merchant may attract
taxes in the countries where they operate. Such taxes are the
responsibility of the merchant and not ePaymentbill.

What security measures does ePaymentbill use in order to help protect
against credit card fraud and customer fraud?
ePaymentbill makes use of several fraud-prevention measures to help protect
the merchants. These procedures include:
1. All charges are approved on-line by the customer's bank or credit card
company.
2. ePaymentbill maintains a "negative file" of customers who have committed
fraud merchants in the past.
3. ePaymentbill logs the IP address from which the customer makes the
payment transactions.
4. ePaymentbill requires the customer to enter the security code (CVC2) on
the signature panel at the back of the credit card.

When will ePaymentbill support the new SET security standard that is being
promoted by Visa and MasterCard?
The implementation of the SET standard is cumbersome and expensive, and
it requires that customers use special software on their computers to
make a purchase. Most customers don't like it. Further, SET is
presently not supported by most major banks and credit card companies.
ePaymentbill will continue to monitor the progress of SET implementation,
and will implement it soon as the major banks and credit card companies
support it.

Does ePaymentbill issue paper receipts to customers?
ePaymentbill's software is Web-based, and no paper receipts or invoices are
generated. If the customer need to generate a paper receipt, the
customer can print out the order from the E-mail confirmation message
the customer receives from ePaymentbill.
